Library Rules :: Govt. College Ghandalwin, Distt. Bilaspur (H.P.)
- All the students on the roll of college shall be eligible to become the member of library.
- Every member must sign in the library visitor entry gate register available at the counter.
- Every student shall ensure to get the library I-card on showing the admission receipt of that particular academic session.
- Member shall have to show their library identity card for borrowing books at any time.
- Every student is entitled to issue two books for reading at home for a period of one month.
- Borrowed books must be returned on due date failing which Rs.1.00 per day, per book will be charged.
- Borrower should check and examine the condition of book carefully and inform to librarian, in case of torn/damaged book. If any student tears / loses or damages the book it will be replaced by the new book of latest edition or the defaulter students will be charged with original cost of book plus 20 percent extra as penalty.
- Reference books are to be consulted in library for reading purpose only after obtaining permission from librarian.
- Use of mobile phones, sleeping, eating and talking loudly is strictly prohibited in the library.
- Newspapers and magazines must be read in the library on specific tables only and are not allowed to be carried to any other place.
- No library material can be taken out of library without permission. Anyone who violates the rules and regulation of library would be liable to lose / cancellation of library membership.
- Library security will be refunded within one year after leaving the college otherwise security will stand forfeited.
